Each Sunday as you enter Cross Point Baptist Church you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. There are greeters at our doors and at welcome desks who will be glad to help you find the service, a Grow Group, or the nursery.
We know that visiting a church is a big deal, and we want to help you know more about what we are like, so that you can have the best experience.
WHAT ARE YOUR WEEKEND SERVICES LIKE?
Each weekend at Cross Point you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting worship music and a relevant message. You’ll also find a place to take notes in the News & Notes you are handed, along with information on upcoming events.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you. When you are ready to engage with us, just fill out a Connection Card or connect with a staff member at the end of the service.
WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICES?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to blazers on Sunday morning. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Cross Point is not about what you look like or what you wear.
DO YOU HAVE A MIDWEEK SERVICE?
We have Adult Grow Groups, Student Worship service, and Children’s programming on Wednesday nights starting at 6:30pm.
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
At Cross Point your children are a top priority. CP Kids Junior, is our nursery and preschool area. They are clean, safe, and staffed with loving volunteers. If you would like to preregister your child, you can do so by clicking the link below.
Also, we offer a dynamic children’s ministry called CP Kids as well as a life-changing ministry to students.
WHY DO YOU HAVE SMALL GROUPS?
Grow Groups are our version of small groups, and they are an important part of Cross Point. We really believe you are really missing out on what it means to be a part of Cross Point if you are not fully experiencing Grow Groups. Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God.
